The Texas Society of Radiologic Technologists, Inc. (TXSRT) is the professional organization for medical imaging professionals, radiation therapists, and advocates in Texas. Founded in 1931, the TXSRT has evolved to more than 1,000 members today. By establishing a united voice, TXSRT members can accomplish more for the profession as a diverse and inclusive community. Our organization strives to create a culture driven by and for all modalities and sectors to comprehensively represent our profession: radiography, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, sonography, magnetic resonance, register radiologist assistants and other specialized mid-level providers credentialed in radiologic sciences, computed tomography, cardiac and vascular interventional, bone densitometry, mammography, education, management, informatics, and other emerging professionals as a result of our advancements. With over 26,000 imaging professionals, one of the largest populations in the country, TXSRT has the momentum to progress as formidable advocate for our profession and an effective community partner among other Texas professionals.
Medical imaging professionals and radiation therapists are globally recognized as vital practitioners in the delivery and advancement of medical imaging procedures. Through our versatile skill sets and demonstrated proficiency, medical imaging professions and radiation therapists contribute to patient care plans requiring diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic methods. We are committed to being contributors to integrated solutions on an interdisciplinary team not limited to physicians, nursing, respiratory therapists, and other services.
