The Texas Society of Radiologic Technologists, Inc. (TSRT) is the professional membership association for radiologic technologist and others who support the imaging profession in Texas. Founded in 1932, the TSRT has grown to more than 1,000 members today. Technologist in Texas choose to be members of TSRT to support their profession and to receive a broad array of membership benefits. By joining forces as a group, TSRT members can accomplish more for the imaging profession than they can individually. With over 25,000 imaging professionals, the largest number in the country, TSRT has the capability to become stronger and a bigger advocate for you and our profession.
Radiologic technologist are globally recognized as vital practitioners in the delivery and advancement of medical imaging procedures. Through passionate provision of unique serviced, radiologic technologists will be an integral part of the inter-professional health care team. The goal of TSRT is to represent, engage, and foster the continued growth and development of the imaging profession and radiologic technologist as unique health care providers in Texas.
Recognizing the need for a set of professional standards and appropriate professional recognition, TSRT has helped to unify certified radiologic technologists across the State of Texas by setting a standard for professionalism, education, certification, research and practice settings. since its inception, TSRT has been a driving force behind the recognition of the imaging profession in Texas. From humble beginnings, the association has expanded to encompass all regions in Texas with a membership between 500-1000 professionals per year. TSRT has members who serve as leaders for the association, which has multiple committees working together to help advance the profession.
